Barratt Equestrian stable is situated in Saliena (Babite). Designed to set a friendly and healthy environment for both horses and riders. It is one of the best training facilities in Latvia, and only a 10 minuet drive from the capital Riga.

The stable has 49 boxes including 5 double sized VIP boxes. A large indoor and outdoor menage, warm water wash-down area, solarium, paddocks and a lounge for riders.

RIDING

LESSONS

Our main coach, Oxana Barratt has competed and trained riders up to Grand Prix level in both jumping and dressage all over the World, including Europe, Asia and USA. We offer riding lessons for all abilities and types of riding, including children from the age of 6.

Lessons can be led in English, Latvian, Russian, French and Ukrainian.

Lockers, changing room, helmets and safety jackets are available

HIRE

Our 40 x 63m indoor manage is available for hire to anyone. We offer excellent facilities such as, great surfaces, full course of show jumps and dressage boards with letters. As well as our menage can be hired for clinics, competitions, rallies, etc.

Barratt Equestrian is a family run business that breed and train horses for dressage and showjumping. Our head trainer, Oksana Barratt (Oksana Lukomskaya), has trained 37 Grand Prix horses to date. Three members of the family have competed internationally in both dressage and showjumping.

We currently have 26 horses, including 3 certified stallions. For more information on our stallions click here. Last year we bred eight beautiful foals from the Zento and Argentinus bloodlines. All our foals are handled with the upmost care and attention. Training for leading and lunging begins at 6 months of age, this insures they are familiar and well prepared for future training. Barratt Equestrian strives in breeding and selling strong and healthy sport horses. We take great pride in our horses bloodlines and are always looking out for the next future star.
